USPS Federal Holidays 2016
Many businesses are open on federal holidays, so it’s easy to mix up dates when mail will not be delivered. Below is a list of holidays when the United States Post Office (USPS) will be closed.
When the USPS is closed, mail tends to get delayed for a few days after a holiday, meaning delivery dates may take longer than usual. Don’t delay your direct mail! Build in a 3-5 day buffer around these holidays to ensure your message is being received in the correct time frame.
